We are currently looking for a Lan Administrator

Responsibilities:

  • Support Help Desk Team with onsite technical and client service issues.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot and administer the use of local area networks, wide area networks, computer work stations, peripheral equipment and connections to the company network.
  • Install computer hardware, networking software and operating system software.
  • Diagnose hardware and related software problems and replace defective components.
  • Work with vendor support contacts to resolve technical problems with computer equipment and software.
  • Request and manage all orders for company desktop/laptop requests, including software and peripherals, through company portals.
  • Build and image new workstations, re-image as required.
  • Provide problem solving services to local network and remote users.
  • Communicate electronically and in person with computer users experiencing difficulties to determine and document problems experienced.
  • Develop and expand on company documentation, user guides, technical manuals and other documents to research and implement solutions.
  • Document work continuously at all times in company ticketing system.
  • Backup System Administrator when needed.

Knowledge/Skills:

  • Technical degree or diploma and/or equivalent business experience.
  • 3+ years of combined Helpdesk/IS Support and IT experience.
  • 3+ years of customer support experience.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7/10, Office 2010/13/16, & Windows Server 2008 R2.
  • Strong Understanding of LAN/ WAN, wireless networking & cabling.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as a ‘team’
  • Willing to work off hours.
  • Ability to work under stress during peak workload period.
  • Industry certificates; (i.e. CCNA, MCP, .NET, Java, C, C++, A+, N+, Server+, HDI & ITIL, etc.) considered an asset.

We are currently looking for a Junior Web Application Developer/.NET Developer

The successful candidate will have a minimum of :

The Junior Web Application Developer / .NET Developer – Will be focused in integrating / maintaining internal solution using standard web technologies, with room to expand with other technologies. The .NET Developer will work in the .NET environment to also integrate with current and future local client-side systems. Experience with mechanical background, but not limited to, experience with CAD software will be considered an asset.

We are currently looking for a Machine Builder

The successful candidate will have a minimum of :

  • 2-5 years’ experience to be considered.
  • Machinist Ticket preferred
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to operate Mills, Lathes and Grinders.
  • Experience with Pneumatics and Hydraulics.
  • Experience with welding would be a definite asset
  • Applicant must also be willing to work afternoons and weekends when required.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Must possess own tools

This position might also require the candidate to go on road trips and work under minimal supervision. Ability to cross border is an asset.

We are currently looking for a ELECTRICAL MACHINE BUILDER

General Purpose

Electrical machine builders are responsible to assemble, wire and install all electrical aspects of industrial machinery.

Main Job Tasks and Responsibilities

Typical duties will include but will not be limited to the following: 

  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams and schematics.
  • Installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing electromechanical, electrical, and electronic components of machinery and equipment, including transformers, generators exciters, and hydraulic and pneumatic devices.
  • Install pneumatic tubing from valve banks to devices
  • Individuals will be responsible for the assembly of control panels, cabinets, and sub-assemblies. Involves wiring, crimping working with wire harnesses.

Education & Experience

  • Must have one of the following certifications
    • Degree in Electrical Technician related field from a certified college.
    • Certification in Electrical Technician field from an accredited institution.
    • Industrial Electrician (442A) Certification
    • Industrial Electrician year 3/4 apprentice
  • 2+ years experience as an electrical technician/wireman/electrician
  • Previous experience with control panel building

Skills and Special Requirements:

  • Has common tools associated to Electrical Panel Building
  • Ability to travel within North America to support machine installation and start-up
  • Should be able to test, calibrate, diagnose, and repair various devices.
  • Maintain clean, safe working environment by following all health and safety procedures
  • Ability to identify and implement efficient paths of action to finish the assigned work.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment.
  • Ability to establish and maintain solid working relationships with others.
  • Good communication and organization skills.

General Description:

  • Set up and operate manual Jig Grinder according to instructions and engineering drawings.

Skill/Effort Requirements:

  • Change tooling and wheels while making the proper offsets and setups as needed.
  • Interpret Blue Print Dimensions
  • Strong understanding of G M Codes and handheld inspection tools
  • Understand and flow of machining policies and instructions: MI,QSI,ISO,SOPs, work rules and safety guidelines
  • Experience machining components to tight tolerances and work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, a team focus, and the ability to work in cross functional teams and develop collaborative relationships
  • Effective decision making and problem-solving skills with the ability to work under pressure/stress to meet tight timelines and schedules

Responsibilities:

  • Must be available for all shifts
  • Meet schedules and maintain quality standards

Education:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of General Machinist/Tool Maker Papers (preferred)
