- 1969: Ross & George Whitney start Armo Tool in a 1200 sq. ft. building at our current location
- 1974 Began to rebuild machines, a 3 1/8 Acme screw machine was our 1st project
- 1976 1st expansion took place, 1600 sq. ft.
- 1981 Completed our 1st major Progressive Die Project
- 1982 Expanded to 5000 sq. ft.
- 1983 Purchased our first CNC mill a Hurco Kmb1. Graduated our first journeyman Tool & Die Maker
- 1984 Purchased our 1st Wire EDM, a ELOX model Q1986Surpassed $1,000,000 in sales for the first time.
- 1987 Purchased our 1st Okuma CNC Lathe
- 1989 Hired our 20th Employee
- 1990 Purchased a 200 ton Warco tryout press
- 1992 George Whitney named President
- 1994 Began to build small-diameter tubing benders for the automotive industry
1999 Achieved certification to ISO 9001:1994. Expanded to 32,000 sq.ft. Graduated our 25th skilled trade journeyman
- 2000 Reached the milestone of $10,000,000 in sales
- 2001 Hired our 100th employee
- 2002 Achieved ISO re-certification to ISO 9001:2000
- 2003 Graduated our 50th skilled trade journeyman
- 2007 Expanded our staff and sales to record level; Ben Whitney appointed as General Manager; Armo Tool named for Provincial Apprenticeship Award
- 2008 Ben Whitney named President of Armo Tool; George Whitney remains as CEO
- 2009 Acquired and integrated Sun Engineering into Armo Tool
- 2012 Added 5 axis CNC milling capability
- 2013 Upgraded building 40,000 sq.ft with cranes to 25 tons
- 2013 Installed 800 ton tryout press with rollout bolster and feedline
- 2014 Added blue light scanning capability
2017 Armo-Tool Acquires Abuma Manufacturing; Achieved ISO re-certification to ISO 9001:2015
